Indiana Furniture reluctantly accepted the resignation of long time Customer Service Representative, Marie Weisman this week.
“Marie Weisman has decided she has done her part to make the furniture industry a better place, and everyone she has dealt with throughout her career would agree. Although we are very happy for her and appreciate all she has done over the years, we can't help but be sad that she won't be here to be the cornerstone of a great Customer Service department. Her legacy will remain, and her influence to our company's customer focus will forever be evident. If you have ever had the opportunity to work with Marie, you realize her extraordinary attributes as a customer service person are what all others should be compared. She would never see herself as such a wonderful part of the team, but her humility is certainly one of her abundant endearing qualities,” stated Mike Blessinger, Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
Marie has been with Indiana Furniture 26 years, and there are many stories about how much customers love her and how much they revere her service - from the dealer that wouldn’t let anyone else process his order until she returned from vacation the following week to the dealer that pulled alongside the company van on a busy interstate in North Carolina just to motion to the driver and ask if he knew Marie! Those stories are legendary among her co-workers.
