Rich Slayton, President and CEO of Indiana Furniture, has announced his retirement as of December 31, 2009. Slayton has been involved in the wood office furniture industry for over 41 years. He started his career as a Service Forester for the State of Indiana DNR in Tell City. In early 1969, Slayton started with Kimball International (then called The Jasper Corporation) as a Wood Technologist with their R&D Department. Over a twenty-year career with Kimball, Slayton held various production and product design leadership positions.
